With its all-new tread pattern, Minion DHR II is the ideal tyre for aggressive gravity driving. With the side studs of the legendary DHF, which have been widened for even better cornering grip, it has extreme cornering grip. The centre studs have bevelled studs for better acceleration. Notches on the studs improve the transition when turning into corners. Some of the centre studs have a paddle shape, they dig in during hard braking and help keep the bike under control.

Exo+ Protection
The new EXO+ construction combines two of the best puncture protection materials: SilkShield and EXO.
The SilkShield layer surrounds the entire tyre from bead to bead, the EXO layer is mounted on the sidewalls. Tyres with EXO+ protection are designed for aggressive trail riding and enduro racing, and especially for the higher torque and weight of E-MTBs.

3C MaxxTerra
The freeride version of the 3C tires. Much more grip and traction due to softer compounds, with acceptable rolling resistance, so that you can still drive uphill before the great descent, long life.

Tubeless Ready
Tubeless tyres have many advantages: You can drive with less air pressure. This gives better traction and reduces rolling resistance. And where there is no inner tube, the risk of a puncture also decreases. MAXXIS TR tyres are better prepared for mounting with sealing milk than other tubeless-ready tyres. The bead of our TR tires is completely covered with a rubber layer like a real UST tubeless tire. This means that the tubeless mounting of all standard rims is already successful with the first inflation and with little liquid.

Wide Trail
The Wide Trail construction optimises the tread layout and tyre shape on today's modern wider rims. Traditional tires are designed for narrow rims and are too angular on wide rims for optimal performance. All Maxxis WT tyres are optimised for an inner rim width of 35 mm, but function perfectly on all rims with an inner diameter between 30 and 39 mm.

Point the bike down a nasty steep chute, and those short, wide and siped centre blocks pinch and bite the trail with more available edges than the DHF.
