Shock pumps are vital if any of your suspension works on air. Normal pumps are no where near capable of doing the job for loads of reasons we will not go into here. Shock pumps are light and small enough to go in your bag for those all day epics, and are cheap enough to have in the shed to check your pressure every once in a while. Its alright spending hundreds of pounds on some shiny new forks but without a shock pump to set them up, they may as well be rigid.
