Chris King Inset 7 Headset

InSet™ is the classic, unbeatable Chris King sealed bearing headset built into six configurations for contemporary bicycle headtube dimensions. As a low-stack style headset, the press-in cups and bearings are housed within the headtube allowing for an overall lower ride height. InSet compatibility can also conform to forks with tapered steerer tubes. Aluminum cups in 10 available colors house our legendary bearings; all made in-house in our Portland, Oregon facility. InSet™ is the unrivaled upgrade for all riding styles.

- Chris King InSet headsets feature an all-new bearing cap design. GripLock™ is a multi-piece bearing cap that utilizes a split ring that improves steerer tube interface.
- InSet™ is official team equipment for Rabobank-Giant Off-Road Team, Giant Factory Off-Road Team, Santa Cruz Syndicate, Yeti Factory Team and Team Jamis.
- InSet™ is not a proprietary system and is compatible with many models from nearly every worldwide bicycle brand. Many handmade frame builders are also producing models with InSet compatible headtubes. Ask your service advisor or mechanic if InSet is right for you.
- Every InSet™ sealed bearing headset is user serviceable and carries a ten-year warranty.

- Inset 7 fits a tapered steerer tube fork into a straight headtube with an upper and lower diameter of 44mm.
- You can use a Chris King Devolution Crown Race to run a 1 1/8'' Steerer fork with this headset or for a neater finish try an InSet 1.

Free Delivery

UK orders over £30 qualify for our FREE delivery service*. Orders under £30 will be subject to a £3 delivery charge. Orders are sent using Royal Mail's 1st Class Delivery Service, with the exception of bikes & bulky items which are sent via Fedex.

*Orders shipping to Northern Ireland via Courier will be subject to a delivery charge, we will be in touch upon receiving your order to discuss your delivery charge or you can Contact Us to discuss pricing prior to ordering.

The Royal Mail 1st Class Service is usually delivered within 1-3 working days of despatch. Orders over £30 will be sent using Royal Mail 1st Class Recorded Delivery meaning a signature will be required on delivery.

Bike Orders

Upon receiving your bike order our team will work out the quickest possible way to have your bike checked by our mechanics and boxed for delivery with Fedex. We will then contact you to arrange a specific day for your bike to be delivered to you.
Bikes usually take approximately 5-7 days from ordering to delivery.

International Orders

International Orders are sent using Royal Mail 1st Class International Signed For Delivery. These items are usually delivered within 3-7 working days of despatch.
All International order postage costs are an estimate. If the estimate is correct your order will be shipped immediately. If the postage estimate won't cover your delivery we will contact you with a postage quote.
