The SaS-Tec foam adapts ergonomically to your body, absorbs 50% more impact energy and is 60% lighter than traditional hard-shell protectors.

The breathable, wicking base layer has sublimated Nukeproof graphics and has vented areas to keep you cool when the going gets rough.

Adjustable Velcro strap closures and an ergonomic design makes this one of the most comfortable jackets on the market.

BikeRadar Nukeproof Critical Jacket Body Armour Review.

The new Nukeproof Critical jacket has been developed in conjunction with Nukeproof’s World Cup race team and has the kind of neat features you’d expect from a product designed under the critical eyes of pro riders.

There’s a removable section at the top of the spine protector to allow for Leatt neck braces. In fact, the whole backplate is removable (the waist strap then zips together tidily at the rear) which opens the Critical up to gravity enduro riders, who are more likely to wear a pack all day. The pads themselves are made from Sas-Tec foam, which offers high levels of impact absorption while remaining malleable, eliminating that ‘plastic warrior’ feel.

One of the biggest plus points is the Nukeproof Critical’s breathability. There are substantial cutaways under each arm, and the meshed base layer body keeps the pads in place and does a great job at allowing heat to vent. You’ll still get warm but the Critical is one of the coolest sets of pads we’ve worn.

That manoeuvrability and breathability sold us on the Critical. Add in the price and the compatibility with a neck brace, and you’re heading towards one of the best sets of body armour we’ve used. The Critical is also available as a vest, but we reckon it’s well worth going the whole hog for £40 more.

The Royal Mail 1st Class Service is usually delivered within 1-3 working days of despatch. Orders over £30 will be sent using Royal Mail 1st Class Recorded Delivery meaning a signature will be required on delivery.

Bike Orders

Upon receiving your bike order our team will work out the quickest possible way to have your bike checked by our mechanics and boxed for delivery with Fedex. We will then contact you to arrange a specific day for your bike to be delivered to you.
Bikes usually take approximately 5-7 days from ordering to delivery.

International Orders

International Orders are sent using Royal Mail 1st Class International Signed For Delivery. These items are usually delivered within 3-7 working days of despatch.
All International order postage costs are an estimate. If the estimate is correct your order will be shipped immediately. If the postage estimate won't cover your delivery we will contact you with a postage quote.
