Orange G2 Hardtail Mountain Bike.

The G-series bikes are mountain bikes, pure and simple. A lightweight, robust answer for anyone who wants to get out in the hills and ride. Nothing is superfluous to purpose, everything is chosen because it provides that true mountain bike feel, that essence of untouchability. Whether it be the commute or a multi-day off-road tour of Highland distilleries, the aim of the Orange G-series bikes is always to get you wherever you want to be with minimum fuss and maximum fun

The G-series bikes use a new double butted 6061-T6 aluminium frame to make the new bikes the lightest ever. Over 10% lighter than last years and still using the signature wishbone seatstays that make our frames what they are. UK specific features abound with Crud Catcher bosses, front facing seat-tube slots, cable routing and added tire clearance to combat the winter mud.

Rockshox suspension keeps the wheels tracking while hydraulic disc brakes prove sure stoppers no matter what the conditions. Clean lines, a stacked component package and good value make the new Orange G-series bikes some of our best yet. These are proper mountain bikes, pure and simple.

Orange Mountain Bikes based in Halifax, West Yorkshire in the UK. Orange produce a wide range of mountain bikes, ranging from the full-suspension downhill Orange 224 to the steel hardtail Orange P7pure. Orange's original hardtail was the Clockwork, named after the film. Orange Mountain Bikes sponsored riders have held the downhill world championship in 2001 (Greg Minnaar), 2002 and 2004 (Steve Peat), as well as the women's under 21 downhill world championship (Tracey Hannah in 2006).
Entry and mid-level Orange bikes are built in Taiwan, while more expensive models are handbuilt in their Halifax factory.
