New Acre Range in stock
We’ve stocked Acre’s hydration pack the Hauser for a while now but for this year, we’ve added their jersey and trail shorts to our range. Acre is a brand created by Mission Workshop whos attention to detail is second to none. Acre products are made using the best materials available and are very well deisgned to create simple yet practical, high end quality items.
The Traverse AM/Trail Short – Charcoal Grey
Acre are renowned for making high quality cycling apparel and the Traverse short lives up to this reputation with a cut that feels immediately comfortable. 4-way stretch fabric with a DWR coating keep it comfy and unrestrictive when riding and two cargo pockets have been added for storage but placed around the back for better weight distribution when pedalling. The Traverse shorts are ideal for any type of trail riding and the waist adjustment strap is a fantastic idea that works brilliantly, being able to cinch it tight when on the move, the CNC machine buckle holds on keep it firmly in place.
The Linear Short Sleeve Trail Jersey – Black
Very cleverly stiched into an open mesh design, the Linear jersey is breathable enough to be used as a base layer on colder rides or simply as an ultra-breathable trail jersey on its own. Fantastic cut and shape, the Linear is very comfortable and matches the Traverse shorts for a great subtle look on the bike.
NEW Acre Hauser Pack (10ltr or 14ltr) - Various Colours
A few of our staff use the Acre Hauser in both size variants (10 and 14 litre) and love them. The simple design but amazing build quality that Acre are unbeaten at means the Hauser hydration pack sits in place and does exactly what it should. Acre have tweaked the design slightly for this season and have added some padding to the hip section of the bag for better support and comfort and they've also added a clever back plate in the seam between the bladder pocket and your back which keeps the main compartment more ridgid again for better comfort especially on longer days out.
Something we have also noticed about the Acre Hauser is the fact that it can be full to the brim and yet still be very comfotable and un-noticable on your back. Other bags by other brands don't seem to pull this off and can push into your back when fully loaded with gear.
