New ProFrame from Fox | Ride.Wide.Open
Following on from our last feature focusing on all new protective equipment designed for riders taking part in gravity style riding but not necessarily Downhill, Fox have now released the superb new Proframe Helmet.
With the long standing Rampage line taking care of out and out DH duties, Fox needed something that could be used on bigger days out on the mountain where breathability and comfort is as key as protection, cue the Proframe.
Featuring the now hugely popular MIPS impact protection, as well as Fox’s own Varizorb EPS liner seen in the Metah helmet, the Proframe meets and exceeds Downhill certification, giving you piece of mind should the worst happen. This level of protection means the new Proframe lends itself perfectly to All-Mountain riding and trail riding, but mainly the increasingly prominent Enduro racing, which often features near Downhill level descents.
With 24 big bore vents, fed by a fixed visor in the optimum position for airflow, the Proframe gives near open face levels of cooling and breathability, whilst also only weighing in at 750g (Size M) ensuring comfort and temperature control in any situation.
With a brilliant choice of colours, the Proframe is sure to be on any keen racers shopping list for the new race season.
