Stif Morf Steel Hardtail Frame - Meteorite
Putting to use the wealth of knowledge we have gained over the last 30 years, and combining it with legendary frame designer Brant Richards we have designed, tested and developed the Morf. With progressive geometry that not dissimilar to that of a modern full suspension bike, the Morf features a long top tube, short chainstays, and a slack 65 degree head angle making it super fun and capable descending. The Morf climbs well too with a steep seat tube angle moving the rider over the bottom bracket for an efficient pedalling position. Combine the Morf frame with a burly 130mm fork and your choice of components and you will have a serious no fuss all-mountain hardtail ready to tackle anything in its path.
The Morf also featured ED Black Anti-Rust treatment to increase longevity, meaning that the bike is at home in any environment from the dry dusty summer rides out right through to those wet winter months riding.

I’ve had the bike for nearly three weeks and I have to say it’s been
utterly brilliant. I’ve ridden it at trail centres, some “wilderness
“rides and also a few night time blasts after work. It climbs well and
seems to fly around tight switchbacks that I often found a struggle on
my full suspension bike, I’m sure some is incompetence on my part but
it does seem to forgive my technique! When it comes to descending the
short back end and slack front end gives plenty of confidence to pick
lines that I never use to on my Cove Stiffee. It is also very easy to
live with on longer rides out into the Dales as, although a hard tail,
my arse doesn’t take the pounding that it did on an aluminium frame.
I’ve always taken all the advertising and geometry tinkering that is
associated with bikes and new fads with a massive pinch of salt but I’m really enjoying this bike.
I have seen on some of the threads on singletrackworld a bit of
negativity but as usual it seems that few, if any, have seen one in
the flesh let alone ridden one. I’m sure they all know more than me
but I feel the frame looks great and the spec was an excellent deal
that clearly had a lot of thought put into it. Interestingly I have
been stopped on the trail and in the carparks with people quizzing me
about the bike and the feedback has been universally positive. I am
currently enjoying the exclusivity of owning a Morf, but I hope that
you do sell many more as I think in my humble opinion that it is a cracker.
